Wiki's

I have been exploring some of the Wiki spots on the licence2drive website and I have learned sooo much today the information is seeping from my pores, not the wrinkles, definitely not the wrinkles. Slq library 2.0: Emerging Media and New Technology Wiki has some excellent ideas to streamline our inter-office communication. I love that we could blog updates to each other that we can access without bulking up the email box!
Using a Wiki for our procedures would allow access for all our staff (the juniors do not have a work email address). It is also something we could access at home in our own time rather than waiting for an available computer at work. (Yes we don't all have a work computer!)

Created a blog!

I am currently attending a State Library of Qld 'Emerging Technologies' session learning of such marvels as blogs, wiki's, podcasts etc. What an amazing world we live in. I was so proud when my typing speed at school allowed me a turn on the technological marvel called the 'electric typwriter'. Pffft soooo last century! Somebody stop me!
